Shining Star Aussies takes great pride in our canines’ whether adults or puppies. We view our puppies as not only a representation of the quality of our breeding program but as ambassadors of our breed. We strive to make sure each puppy is placed in a home that will benefit the needs of the owner as well as the puppy. Our mommas are always provided good nutrition with A+ rated dog food (check out the rate your dog food link) and proper supplements to insure that they are happy, healthy, and of the proper mind set to produce, nurture, and teach their youngsters their life lessons. At Shining Star Aussies each puppy is started on the same outstanding nutritional program (in a varied form) to ensure that they build strong bones and muscles with an intelligent mind.
The Enviornment
Puppy Evaluations
Our puppies are happy and healthy due to the environmental stimulation that they receive and the clean environment in which they play and sleep in. At a very early age all puppies are played with and handled extensively, and given major amounts of human interaction so that they become very socialized and develop playful and outgoing personalities. The "Puppy Playroom" is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized twice a day with cleaner that leaves no harmful residues. This insures that the puppies play and romp in a healthy, sterile environment. Each puppy is started with potty training by going to a designated "potty area" outside. This will enable the future owner to have an easier transition into potty training. Each puppy at Shining Star Aussies is on a stringent and scheduled vaccination and deworming program.
At 8-9 weeks ALL puppies will be put through an extensive evaluation process which helps us determine their temperament, structural soundness, breed type, genetic traits and overall characteristics. At this time it will be determined whether the puppy will be a show quality or pet quality canine.THERE IS A POSSIBLILTY THAT ONE PUPPY CAN HAVE 2 DEPOSITS UP ON IT. ONE FOR A SHOW DEPOSIT AND ONE FOR A PET DEPOSIT. AFTER THE EVALUATION PROCESS IT WILL BE DETERMINED WHERE THE PUPPY WILL BE PLACED. IT IS THE SOLE DISCRETION OF SHINING STAR AUSSIES TO MAKE THAT DECISION BASED UPON THE DETERMING FACTORS DISCOVERED DURING THE EVALUATION PROCESS.

These adorable puppies and teens below are litter box trained, are up to date on their rounds each of parvo and distemper shots, are on their monthly heartworm/dewormer schedule, and are FULL of love and kisses. Some of these "kids" are a little older so they are already transitioning themselves to outside pottying. The bigger puppies have ALREADY HAD ALL THEIR SHOTS!!! There is nothing wrong with them, they have just been overlooked. They are litter box trained, and started on their leash work. They have been socialized very well and are just waiting for you to give them their forever home.
